Everyone wants to look good and most importantly, feel good. What does it really take to change your life and turn it around? Creating a routine that allows you to stay consistent and get in activity, healthy food, sleep, and an overall positive outlook is nothing to shy away from.
If you want to get yourself out of those depressing moods and sluggish behavior while losing weight and gaining confidence, it would be wise to create a plan and find someone who can hold you accountable. A lifestyle coach, for example, is someone who can create a customized plan of workouts, food goals, weight goals, and other important factors to keep you consistent for the course of your life. No one wants to look back and feel like they could’ve helped themselves some odd years ago. The best time to take action is now and if you’re reading this then you probably agree with me.
At Heroes Gym, most of our trainers are also lifestyle coaches that bring you the best of both worlds: an expert in nutrition and fitness, as well as a professional in accountability and positivity.
First, we assess your current fitness level and living situation (how happy you are, if you are overweight, your problem areas, how much stress you have on your plate, etc.)
Then, we come up with a customized plan designed to make you look and feel better. This may sound simple, but there are so many moving parts to life and what goes into building good habits. Once we have your customized plan, we set goals and accountability sessions for those goals, so we can actively be checking in on you and helping you move forward with your progress.
Sometimes life gets in the way and we put other people before ourselves. Whether that’s our children, our spouse, our work, or even those reality tv stars we give too much time to. Once we really decide to make a change in our lives, everything becomes a question of whether it’s helping or hurting your growth. Now, that’s not to say we can decide to part ways with our kids because they aren’t providing for us, but thinking about what else drains our energy and isn’t making us better people overall is something to take into account. If you are feeling stuck in your current situation and just want to “get better” then make a list of all the things in your life that you’re unhappy with. From there, your brain will naturally start coming up with solutions and things you can do to get out of the hole you feel stuck in. What you need to do, however, is listen to what your mind is telling you and truly promise yourself that you are going to do everything you can to help yourself, instead of creating a scenario where you are the victim. Let’s face it- you’re not a victim. You are in total control of your mind, body, health, and happiness, and handing that control over to someone else is never the answer. Hold yourself accountable and make a change today,
